A TXCHSE (Texas Credential of High School Equivalency) can provide individuals greater benefits in continuing to college or success in the workplace. Students in our HSE classes learn to follow multistep directions, read more complex forms and manuals, can integrate and interpret information, comprehend college level books, apply higher order thinking skills, work collaboratively in groups and are proficient in using a computer and common computer applications.
About HSE Classes
Our students apply classroom learning to their preparation to take the GED test. The Southwest Texas Junior College AEL program transitions many students per year.
